Troy King Supports Argo Leadership?

Posted by ALmod on June 14, 2007

As well as Scott Beason?

According to the website and claims from those receiving fliers, the two of them are set to make an appearance at the groundbreaking ceremony for Argo’s new municipal building.  (Read:  The latest attempt by Argo’s leaders to divert attention from the fact that they are fighting a vote.)  Argo leaders are still fighting a losing battle in court and have just dedicated $750K in debt to a new municipal building that they may not need a few weeks from now.  I can’t figure out if they’re trying to show that they’re promoting progress or if they’re intentionally placing Argo deeper in debt and draining the treasury in an attempt (and a bad one, at that) to stick it to Springville.

Considering the questionable ethics of Argo’s leadership, including the possible hire of one council member’s husband as the new police chief at their meeting tonight, it’s not surprising that they’d want to schmooze with their ethical kindred– Attorney General Troy King.  So King will now be throwing his weight behind a government that fights the democratic and republican processes.  I’ll have to send this one over to Dan to add to his list.

As for Scott Beason, I knew he had gone a bit loopy when he voted for the 62% raise, but I didn’t realize that he was politically suicidal.

Wow! I missed this while we were on vacation. Somehow I’m not surprised that Troy’s sucking up to those he perceives as powerful. He’ll need their campaign contributions when he runs for governor.

If it reeks of scum, then you can bet that Troy King is nearby. That guy is so sleazy, he should be on Land of the Lost.
